My mother-in-law is visiting from England and she carried 5 lbs of British Vogue’s to give to me when she got off of the plane. I, in turn, had 30 kinds of tea ready for her in my tea drawer when she arrived. A friend mentioned to me this week that I tend to be either
Always love to see what you put together — including Dorsey pieces — and adore this direction. The “what to buy” newsletters are teetering on oversaturated and it makes me sad for the amount of overconsumption happening.
In a world of influencers and trends, I’m loving your style….its relatable for me of where I am in my life and what feels good! Sincerely enjoying your posts!
I love your new direction!! There is so much content out there about what to buy, but not HOW to wear it, and why combos work (or don’t - I sometimes learn even more from that). Thank you!
Love the new direction. I'm always looking for more inspo to "shop my closet" and not buy more stuff and to be thoughtful about the investments I make.
On that note - I've been in the market for a rug and love the one that is in the pic with your sneakers laid out on it. Where is it from?
Your efforts to make this a truly authentic newsletter are seen, felt, appreciated, loved. It’s why it’s the only one I haven’t unsubscribed from and look forward to reading. Cheers to you and thank you for sharing all you do!
This feedback really made my morning, Kelsey. I feel I am fumbling my way through this. Thank you so much for taking a moment to share this with me. It meant a lot to read.
Hello Megan, your newsletter is a joy to read. Yesterday I tried to upgrade to paid subscriber to access your full post archive but I was not given this option on the Substack website. Someone mentioned that you do not have the paid option open but I still cannot access some posts. Any ideas?
Hi Alexandra! I'm so sorry, let me look into this, I'm not sure why that would be the case. Is it just the (previously) paid posts that you are not able to see? I will send a note to the substack team to ask why you may be having this issue. Thank you so much for letting me know. x
Very true. That’s what I thought they were. And to be frank I cannot justify the price for the row canvas sneakers which are a dupe for their much cheaper keds counterparts
GREAT rec. I actually have keds, too. They're at the back of my closet and I completely forgot about them! I stepped on the back of them for an entire summer and they fit a bit odd now. Might order a new pair.
I just posted and deleted that they look like Keds because I didn’t see your comment, lol. I’d be curious to know what makes them different/special since they look identical.
I so appreciate your efforts to make this a non-shopping only focused newsletter! Your style is inimitable anyways!
Thank you so much, Charu. I really appreciate your feedback xx

Thank you so much for this feedback, Christine! I really appreciate it. xx
Love the new direction. (The collective) we need more style, less shopping ✨
Thank you, Robyn! xx
I think this direction will be wonderful and am so grateful 😘
Thank you so much for letting me know! This feels much more like me.

Thank you so much, Lori!
Excited for this direction. Also just got back from visiting my husbands family in Scotland and always pack extra copies of BV 🇬🇧👌🏻😘
I couldn't believe she carried them all that way! I was worried about her back! x
Sounds like you hit the MIL lottery! What a doll

Loving the styling inspiration. Sounds like a great direction. And the keds/The Row is a great tip.
Thank you! And agree, that was such a great tip from Alexandra S.! x
Love the new direction!
Thank you, Carmen! xx

Exactly! It’s the previous posts. Thanks for getting back to me!
Having the same issue! I contacted Support but no luck.
The Row sneakers (older design) look just like Keds Grasshoppers from the 70s/80s! I don't remember if they made leather ones though

Keds are a breezy throw on shoe. The Row sneaker are a heavier canvas with a more masculine feel to them (IMO) and a more substantial sole.
Keds fit more tightly & have less support xo
Inspiring me to pull out my white moccasins we bought together
Look at us! Who would've thought?
