Happy holidays! I love your column and approach to functional, chic style - and the reminder none of this is stuff we need - so important these days w/ excessive consumption! I'm Jessica, 37 and live in LA w/ my husband and just-turned-2 baby, Alaïa :) We lived in NYC for years and I'm still adjusting somewhat to life in LA, your snippets of NYC adventures and work give me those reminders of a place I love and seeing the special moments w/ your daughter in LA -horseback riding, etc. make me excited for life in LA as a mama!
Hi Megan, I’m curious, do you wear them as slippers, as shoes or both? I think they’re really great either way, I’m just wondering what they are for you. Thanks so much. Merry and Happy Everything!!
Hi, Megan! This is Meghan. 53 (well, 54 tomorrow!), mom of 4 (2 college kids, 2 high schoolers), living in San Francisco, working in the restaurant biz, love running and reading, my family bought me a Dorsey heart ID necklace after I ran the Boston marathon (26 engraved on one side - my lucky number and birthday- and .2 engraved on the other - the length of the marathon! Isn’t that great?). Love your jewelry and your creative spirit!
I’m Frances, 28, mom of a one year old girl. American living in Nice, France with my husband. Won your Jamie haller loafer giveaway last year and oh so grateful for it!
Thank you, Megan. Sending you wishes for a magical holiday season and grateful for what you do here. Laura, 48, Santa Monica, mom to Lilly (who also just turned 6!), writer, coach, friend, perennially allured and baffled by fashion 🥰🙃
37, single, no kids, from Scotland, moved to Portugal last year. In the process of setting up a Pre-loved and Vintage business (@skinnerandbarnet on insta) which takes most of my time when I’m not gazing at the sunsets and the waves.
Love that you asked us to introduce ourselves! My name is Ali, my Substack is new, it’s a creative outlet for me, and love connecting with the community on here. I was SoCal based for 9yrs, but recently moved back Texas to be closer to my family. Renovating a 1950’s cottage so definitely decor obsessed but fashion will always be my escape.
I always feel inspired reading your content. I’m Becca, 33, living in Boston. I don’t have many friends that feel quite as captivated by fashion, so Substack remains a creative space for me. I love your emphasis on styling via spending, storytelling, caring for people and things, etc. Thank you for sharing with us ✨
Hi I’m Lexi- mom to three tweens, wife, and doctor in Pennsylvania. I love learning about fashion and design. I appreciate quality clothing and accessories that will last. I’ve been enjoying your Substack because it is authentic and a pace that relaxes me in our busy world. Happy Holidays to all ❤️
Happy holidays! I’m a mom to 16-year old twins - son & daughter. Formerly worked in tech for 15 yrs & now live in southern Maine. I grew up sewing from Vogue patterns with my mom & have always enjoyed fashion. I do not like the over-consumerism happening and am drawn to your asthetic & approach to fashion.
Hi Meg! I’m Liz. I have a sister named Megan, a hubby and two college kiddos. I hope you have a wonderful holiday! Thank you for your beautiful words and jewelry. You inspire me!
I’m Danielle, a Mississippian who has always loved pursuing the development of my taste. I’m married and have two boys (10 and 7), founded and run a reproductive health non profit serving across the Deep South. Wearing beautiful things, well made, with materials that are not contributing to harm to our planet or people brings me joy, I love having a dress custom made and believe the history of fashion and the theory of fashion are just as captivating as the slip of a silk skirt!
