Dear Reader,
There must be a better way to address you. For now, I haven’t a clue what that would be. Hi (from rainy Los Angeles).
Several months ago I bought the book Atomic Habits. I just finished it yesterday and I highly recommend it. This is not your average self improvement book. It has fundamentally altered the way I view patterns in my own life. We are all a constant work in progress.
I believe I speak for (almost) everyone when I say that the only month that’s worse than January is February. February is the reason I once decided to move from New York City to Los Angeles for a year.
Land of Birkenstocks.
Everything in this column this week is quite old but I’ve been able to find most pieces and links.
When I’m looking for inspiration I use Pinterest. Not instagram. I’m always looking for new ways to put things together (that I already own). Especially at the end of a season (like February - when winter is coming to an end, and August - when summer is setting).
As usual, I’m going to remind you that you probably don’t need anything in this column. But if you’re looking for something similar, perhaps this email will help you find it, or send you in a new direction altogether.
Thoughts or questions? See you in the comments section.
As always, you can reach me directly at Meg@ShopDorsey.com.
Have a great week (and talk soon).
All my very best,
Meg Strachan

I love the 'dear reader', no one else does that!
I re-read Atomic Habits at the first of every year and learn something new every time. It's SO GOOD.
