The Jenni Kayne Rhode Dress
Dear Reader,
It’s 11:40 am in France and my internet keeps going in and out. Alas, I give up for today. Instead of sending one long post this morning, I’ll be sending more frequent newsletters this week. I’m home Wednesday night.
Re: the Jenni Kayne Rhode dress (above), I was in between sizing so I went with a medium. I may alter is slightly when I get home. I also have it in blue. The beige linen dress I wore last week is from Banana Republic (size medium).
If there’s one thing I can report from here, it’s that everyone (and I mean everyone) is wearing Birkenstocks. Mostly the natural color in suede (as seen on the chic French couple walking past me to dinner below).
Dorsey would approve.

What I love about Parisian style is that they’re never reinventing the wheel, they just look timeless, elegant and subtly individual. No need for the latest over-the-top trend, just a favorite scarf tied just so or an amazing vintage watch to show that touch of personality.
