I'm sad to read you will revert to a paid format. I really enjoy your content - but I have determined (for myself) to not engage with paid substack subscriptions. It just rubs me the wrong way to charge the consumers for what is direct/indirect marketing of goods. Even if you do not receive payment for what you offer here, you still receive gifts, market yourself and therefore market your own business (I adore Dorsey by the way!). I wish you success but I'm struggling to understand why I would pay to receive this information - especially from all the many content providers who are now offering their advice/suggestions at a cost to the consumer. Just my thoughts ...
Kammy, thank you so much for your feedback. You're right about all of it. It was difficult to make this decision in a world that offers so much "free" content. I understand that people see me as an extension of Dorsey and that was the most complicated part of this decision. Your feedback is a gift, your kind words are deeply appreciated, and I know many other people will feel the same. I still have 24 hours to change my mind - so I will take this to heart - and make sure that I am making the right decision prior to moving forward. Thank you so much for taking the time to write this note to me. Please know that I've read it and appreciate your thoughtful and candid perspective. Your feedback matters to me. All my very best, Meg
Thank you for your considerate reply. I love Dorsey (my Crawford earring are my go-to solution when I need something a bit "more") and your style choices are refreshing. I just have a philosophical issue and (at least for now) am trying to stick to it. We'll see ...
I absolutely think you should stick to your decision. I understand it and honor it and I think so many people feel the same.
Thank you so much for supporting Dorsey and for this gorgeous feedback. I am putting it into our company slack channel now so that the amazing people who work alongside me behind the brand will get to read it tomorrow morning. We are so grateful to all of our customers for their support, sharing their experience with the wider world, and telling us how our products make them feel.
In our efforts to build a great company your feedback is what drives us.
Hello dear Meg & welcome back to LA where you’ll get plenty of wear from the trench & sweater ☔️🌬️
Thank you to you & Kammy above for such a graceful exchange. It’s a rarity!!
As ever, I am happy to be a paid subscriber.. I’ve culled so many subscriptions lately (paid & unpaid) to minimize what I read on my .☎️ & I’m keeping WIPOT in the mix~ your voice & the images are personal, plain spoken & inspiring all at once.. with little threads of a dry humor woven in .. thank you for doing this ☀️☀️
Thank you so much, Tiffany! The tassel is the hotel key from The Bowery but I also thought it was so chic and I'm now looking for something similar! It was very old world. x
I too am super careful about paid substacks. I will only subscribe to a few. I personally think WIPIOT is really worth it. I enjoy everything about it, Your style, honesty and authenticity. I realize how time consuming it is to put content out. I only wish there were more posts lol.... I really look forward to every post. I only hope you keep doing it.
Hi! I’ve been having difficulty accessing the chat from on Substack page — every time I click, it automatically crashes. Wondering if it’s now a paid feature, or if anyone else has been experiencing this glitch?

Thank you so much for this lovely feedback, Debo. I really appreciate your words. The rain! I'm ready for some sunshine. Bring it on!
You got the flu while you were here? Ugh!
I did! :-(
Always love your newsletter!
On a minor note, where is your fabulous tassel keychain from?
Thank you so much, Tiffany! The tassel is the hotel key from The Bowery but I also thought it was so chic and I'm now looking for something similar! It was very old world. x
I have a LV large wallet, will be in new rotation!
Old LV - a moment!
