What I Put On Today with my friend @SueWilliamson
WHERE: MY SECOND SESSION OF CHEMOTHERAPY AT CEDARS-SINAI IN L.A.
WHAT: A Prada knit sweater vest from the outlet in SF, Simon Miller rib pants, a necklace holding my dad's wedding ring, cashmere socks from Amazon, Araks undies — always.
WHEN: March 2021
WHY: AC is notoriously one of the toughest forms of chemo, so tough in fact it's often called "the red devil." So I dressed to counteract the task at hand. My hair was falling out, I was bracing for the side effects to come, and at the same time I was feeling grateful for the drug. The sweater kept me cozy, my sentimental jewelry grounded me, and my outfit helped me retain a crucial sense of self.
Thank you for reading (and following along). I am creating the format for this Substack as I go. Stay tuned.

My mom always put her lipstick on before chemo. Armour is important ♥️
Home run for this post too : ) Thanks for sharing! Curious - did you take the small / large / xlarge size in the Cartier tank?
Thanks!
