My WIPOT Plans for Fall / Winter 2024

Dear Reader,

I spent my summer in our offices and going back and forth between coasts as we finish laying the groundwork for the next growth phase at Dorsey.

WIPOT (this substack) started as a quick chronicle of what I wear each day while I’m out in the world. What I Put On Today is a free newsletter (I do not partner with brands on any sponsored content or posts - here and there brands do offer to send pieces for me to try - those items are clearly marked as gifts in all posts). There is no fee for this substack.

In the coming weeks and months I’m going to discover things I want to share with you here. But the truth is that I never know when the urge to share is going to come up and I don’t plan my posts ahead of time. Some months will have more posts and others may have none. Some I’ll write from the back of a taxi en route to a meeting (and post in real time) and others from a coffee shop when I have a few hours to sit still.

At the beginning of the summer I had quite big plans for this space but they’re being tabled for next year when I can bring them to life the way I see them in my head. It will be a labor of love in the deepest sense and I look forward to it. Hang in there with me until then?

One last note. Great wardrobes are built over a series of years. Every single time I tell someone that I love a coat or bag the response is always the same. This? I bought it 10 years ago on a trip to Paris when I landed in the city and realized I forgot my coat…or something similar.

Style, like life, takes time to build on. You define and shape what each season feels like based on the life you are living today (and the things that are inspiring you now).

I’m in search of everyday classics (keep you posted on what I find).
