I just discovered your Substack circa Jamie Haller. It was a treasure trove of reading (backwards) and an absolute delight to end on this post. You have such a clear, fluid writing style and it’s very inspiring. Thank you for sharing ❤️
This reminds me so much of my Babcia (grandmother in Polish)! She worked at Jordan Marsh for over 50 years (we ate so many blueberry muffins!), loved fashion and would bring home home the most beautiful clothes! She never wore a pair of pants, never wore makeup nor used skincare products (& had the most beautiful complexion!), never drove and never had a sip of alcohol! She was the strongest woman I’ve ever met & lived alone until she passed away at 102! I miss her terribly 💔
Thank you for sharing Meg! I only discovered Dorsey (and you) today and in the span of 6 hours I have followed, subscribed, listened (Second Life of course!) and found far too many things that I will now have to spend my money on at Dorsey! Dorsey sounded amazing, a true individual with a personal sense of style that is so hard to come by these days. I look forward to many more profound and eloquently written Substacks x
A beautiful post, I'm so happy an honoured to be on your legit of subscribers and read that. I aspire to be that stepmother who brings up her husband's children to be the best versions of themselves too! Thank you Megan and I'm looking forward to next posts form you. Hello from Scotland x
What a beautiful and touching tribute to a lovely lady. I'm sure your grandmother is smiling on you every single day and she is so proud of all you are accomplishing!
