9 Pieces I'm Wearing Through Transitional Fall, In Grey/Black/White
Stick to what you like.
I’m writing my Sunday column from a coffee shop at 6:30 am so that I don’t wake my family.
In the back of my closet I have two grey and black vintage Escada suits that Dorsey gave to me a few summers ago. I wear them from time to time but they need to be hemmed.
When it comes to September, I stick to classics, and I never stray. After years and years of buying things I thought would update my look, I really decided to let myself like what I like, and I haven’t looked back. From time to time I’ll throw in a wild card, but that’s unusual for me. Especially in winter. What works works. Why reinvent at (nearly) 38?
Here’s what I put on this week (and a few things I’d like to wear next week). Over the coming weeks I’ll be trying new formats here. This column is a WOP. Your feedback would be a gift.
